OBO Bettermann. Until 1952 there was no other option: when installing a plug, you had to drill forcibly. Nobody questioned it. Only an OBO engineer was not satisfied. He developed a metal dowel that could be nailed directly into the wall thanks to its special construction.

From that moment on, our entrepreneurial spirit has a name: OBO - no drilling. For the workers of that time, this assembly advantage represented a great simplification of the work.

Since this invention, more than half a century has passed. But OBO's entrepreneurial spirit has remained: our engineers are constantly working on developing new products and improving existing products, to simplify work and improve efficiency.
