The essential purpose of the Col·legi d'Enginyers Graduats i Enginyers Tècnics Industrials de Barcelona (ENGINYERS BCN) is to ensure that the actions of its members and members respond to the interests and needs of society in relation to the professional practice of the industrial technical engineering and, especially, guarantee compliance with good practice and the professional's ethical obligations.

Likewise, the purpose of the Association is to organize, represent and defend the profession and the professional interests of members of the Association.

As a result of this mission, it has reached a collaboration agreement with Bimetica, to promote the use of BIM through the development of a BIM library designed for the group of engineering professionals.
