European Project started in 2019, consisting of 21 project partners from 11 countries, covering the entire wood value chain.
“We want to make wood a natural choice of building material for the construction of multi-storey buildings”
– Build-in-Wood Consortium
To enhance wood constructions and facilitate both their planning and design, Build-in-Wood works on the creation of a timber BIM Library. Standardization and public access to this library shall lead to an increase in construction with timber: equally reducing greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to sustainable urbanisation and increasing productivity of the building sector.
This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 862820
